Very friendly and warm welcome and excellent service. The rooms and the whole hotel is very nicely decorated
Lugar agradable. Todo muy agradable.
This was our second stay in this beautiful hotel, just my wife and I travelled and we were given a room in the middle of the hotel, bottom level, we were warned about noise levels early in the morning, but all we heard were crickets, it was really quiet and comfortable. We were given a room that included a small fridge, large cabinet to store our clothing and a very spacious bathroom with a large shower. The bed was comfortable, and perhaps what we enjoyed the most was the typical Spanish décor, wooden ceilings, wooden windows with shutters, really authentic Spanish. They offer complimentary coffee/tea and pastries in the afternoon, which we enjoyed during our brief stay, plus we had the opportunity to meet other interesting guests while we watched the World Cup soccer game between Belgium and France. We visited the Alhambra once again one morning and it was as magical and breathtaking as our first time just the year before. Remember you need to book a ticket at least 3 months in advance, and I would recommend an early morning visit to avoid large crowds, although in our case (9 AM visit) we couldn’t avoid the large tour buses that just visit for the day in Granada and make a stop in the Alhambra. Everyone in the hotel was nice and personable, Rocio and Mar in the front desk always with a smile helped us with any questions we had for meals/drinks in the area or any other questions, and of course, Carolina the hotel manager complimented us with a bottle of sparkling wine since we were repeat customers, such a nice gesture makes us want to go back again. Beautiful and friendly people. The one thing I regretted not doing in our prior visit to Granada was going to a Zambra dance in the caves in the Sacromonte. During this visit, Carolina and Rocio helped us with all the arrangements to visit perhaps the most authentic of them all, Maria La Canastera, you can get the tickets directly from the hotel and choose to include transportation before and after the event. We choose to walk to and from the venue, we had a late dinner and just walked 10 min to the Sacromonte, it’s very safe and there’s lots of people on the streets. On our way back, it was a very pleasant walk as well, no issues with distance, besides at this point it’s all downhill to the hotel. Would recommend without hesitation this hotel, and when we return to Granada, it will be our go to hotel. Thanks to all the staff for a memorable stay!
La situación muy buena
Mi experiencia fue grandiosa en el hotel
Very charming old style building. Staff are very friendly. Just one thing, they need more powerful air-conditioning for the rooms because summer in Granada can be very hot. But overall rating is excellent.
I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It is in a perfect location - within easy walking distance of all the best sites. The hotel is so charming with beautiful Spanish courtyards to cool down in after a hot day exploring the city. And the staff are super helpful and friendly. And breakfast was delicious!
Flott hotell med fantastisk belägenhet.
Wonderful! I would suggest revising the parking directions to include using a gps to the parking lot . The plaza was very hard to find with them and after getting lost we used the gps which worked very well.
