Really poor. We booked via booking.com a larger room for a higher price thinking that it would be more pleasant. There were only two of us and we were not told that this room had poor water facilities. The bath did not work or the jacuzzi. We were told that this would be fixed but it was not. The taps made a terrible noise. We were not offered another room even though there was availability (checked on the website). The room itself was clean enough although a rather strange layout (no. 41). It was really noisy and we did not have one night when there was no noise. We asked if it would be possible to cancel our booking but we were not able to do that but were not offered any other alternative. On checkout we were told that there was no manager available to speak to and that we would be contacted bu email on Monday. This never happened despite sending a reminder. Overall our experience was really poor. The receptionist kept saying that the room must have been fixed and kept blaming other staff and took no ownership of our complaint. For the money 700Euro for four nights this was terrible value for money...

Dear Mrs Davis,

Thanks for your comments. I´m really sorry to know that our hotel and the room didn´t meet your expectations.
First of all, I´m sorry for the delay in my reply, Saturday and Sunday were my day off and I received your complaint this morning. Sorry for the delay!

We are astonished to read your comments because the room you stayed in was a beautiful special room; this kind of room is the most reserved by our Guests. Being a XVI Century building, the original construction is conserved and the size of the rooms are also different.
Please be assured, we do value all feedback from our guests and your comment has been reviewed with our team and corrective actions are taken to improve the quality of our service. We are working the improve the soundproofing system of all the Hotel and the rooms.
You did fortunately very well informing the front desk that immediately offered you the possibility to move to another room , a standard room was the only type of room available in those days, but you didn´t accept. We are very small, only 18 rooms...and September and October is high season in Granada, normally we are fully booked every day.
The maintenance service has been advised too, and corrective action has been taken.

We would like to apologize one more time for all the inconvenience and I hope that you give us another opportunity to better serve you in a near future.
I´ll promise that, in your next stay , I will take personally care of your next reservation.

Best regards,

The hotel is perfectly located. It is very charming and the hotel staff were truly very nice, welcoming and helpful.
Perhaps I’m sensitive to noise and I am definitely a self proclaimed food conisseur - and these are areas in which I feel the hotel could improve.

Very nice hotel to stay in for visiting Granada. Albaicin is the most romantic quarter of Granada. Easy for the main Plaza. Bathroom could be improved by having better shower (my shower head was not properly fixed to the wall) ---- but overall the hotel has great staff, really nice lobby serving wine and olives, and beautiful Arabic-style building. I would stay again.
