The hotel is a beautiful old building with lots of character. Unfortunately the conversion into a hotel has meant that modern requirements such as plumbing to every bedroom and a functional air con system were, at times very noisy.

We loved the old world feel, the room was ready when we got there, very clean hotel and again the 2 girls at the front desk were wonderful and helpful and just plain nice.

Very nice hotel, clean and airy rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice location, close to buzzy areas yet quiet. A very good value for money. I will definetely recommend this hotel to friends.

The hotel was beautiful - full of character and charm and so unusual in having patios open to the sky. Its location was also great - everything we wanted to see was in walking distance or the bus was nearby. The staff could not have been more helpful. Our only suggested improvement was in the storage space available in our room, but that didn't prevent us from thoroughly enjoying our stay - we would certainly recommend the hotel to others.
