I requested a quiet room, I was given a flat at the top at the back, lovely! Then when I went to bed the noise was atrocious, people walking up and down the two streets below my room, people talking until after 2 in the apartments which were close by, then I could hear snoring from nearby rooms, then more noise from the streets. Next morning I asked if I could be moved to a quiet room, the lovely lady at reception organised. This room was quieter, but still you could hear some noise from the other rooms.
On bookings.com your ad said you had a lift, I wouldn't have booked if this wasn't the case - the first room had no lift, stairs only, I do have abad hip and knee. There was poor lighting through that stairwell as well. The room I was moved to on the first floor I was able to access the lift, so feel you need to be clear in your ad stating that the lift only accesses some of your hotel.
The second room had no chair to sit on, you could only sit on the bed, also no table if you wanted to put a glass down, moly the floor or the tiny bedside table.
Your staff were lovely, wonderful people. They helped greatly, booking 2 excursions for me, recommending places to eat - just great.
