Schönes Hotel, sehr guter Service der Rezeption, guter Service im Restaurant. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant. Housekeeping macht sehr guten Job.
Hotel in guter Lage zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.
Ich kann das Hotel gern weiterempfehlen.

Very good impression of my trip. Very polite and pleasant people , live piano music at the evening, relaxed and friendly place. Good management of the hotel (forget nothing, know everyone)

I chose this hotel because it looked beautiful and offered a pool and spa included with the stay. It was actually above my usual budget, but I decided to make the extra effort because the facilities seemed worth it.

However, when I arrived, I was informed at check-in that the pool and spa were closed for two weeks. This was extremely disappointing, especially since these amenities were the main reason I booked the hotel. My reservation confirmation still states that the spa is included and offers unlimited access.

When I expressed my disappointment at the reception desk, the staff member responded in a very aggressive and disrespectful way, telling me that I should “learn how to read.” Instead of apologizing or trying to find any solution, he simply dismissed the issue and spoke to me very poorly.

Apparently the closure was mentioned somewhere on the website, but it is hidden at the very bottom of the page, behind two expandable sections, in very small text with dates. It is absolutely not presented in a clear or visible way when making the reservation.

Overall, the experience was very disappointing. Not only were the main facilities unavailable, but the way I was spoken to at reception was completely unacceptable. A hotel at this level should at least treat guests with respect and transparency

First and foremost, please accept our sincere apologies if the interaction at the reception desk left you with an unpleasant impression. Providing respectful and attentive service is extremely important to us, and we regret if the communication at that moment did not reflect the standard of hospitality we strive to deliver. Our colleague also offered the possibility to speak with a manager the following morning so that the matter could be discussed further.

Regarding the temporary closure of our wellness facilities, we fully understand how disappointing this may have been, especially if the pool and spa were important factors in your decision to choose our hotel. Renovation works can never take place at a perfectly convenient time; however, the comfort and long-term satisfaction of our guests remain our highest priorities.
The recent enhancement of our wellness area — including essential maintenance, the construction of a new sauna, and technical upgrades affecting both the indoor and rooftop pools — had been communicated on our website since 13 January as well as on major online reservation platforms such as Booking.com. As your reservation was made on 15 February through Booking.com, this information was already indicated on the platform at the time of booking. Nevertheless, we fully understand that guests staying during the renovation period may have felt disappointed, particularly if these facilities were a key reason for their visit.

While some services were temporarily limited, our fitness facilities and massage treatments remained available. We are also pleased to share that the renovation has now been successfully completed, and our renewed wellness area — including the expanded sauna and salt room — has been welcoming guests again since March 1.

Once again, please accept our apologies for any frustration caused during your stay. We sincerely hope that, despite this situation, you were able to enjoy some aspects of your time in Budapest, and we would be grateful for the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide the full experience our hotel strives to offer.

We zijn blij te horen dat u genoten heeft van onze aangename omgeving, het heerlijke ontbijt en de behulpzaamheid van ons personeel. Het is fijn om te weten dat onze locatie en de nabijheid van het openbaar vervoer het verkennen van Boedapest voor u zo gemakkelijk hebben gemaakt.

We stellen uw opmerkingen over de kamer en de nabijheid van de rookruimte zeer op prijs. We begrijpen dat het af en toe voorkomende geluid op de gang en de wat hogere kamertemperatuur uw comfort mogelijk hebben beïnvloed. Nu het weer milder wordt, wordt onze centrale verwarming gedeeltelijk teruggeschroefd om een optimale balans in comfort te garanderen. We moedigen gasten altijd aan om eventuele klachten ter plaatse te melden. We staan altijd klaar om u direct te helpen, bijvoorbeeld door de verwarming aan te passen, ramen te openen, een ventilator te plaatsen of, indien beschikbaar, een stillere kamer aan te bieden.

Wat betreft het ontbijt, we zijn blij dat u van onze selectie heeft genoten.
