This was booked as part of a package deal with Jet 2 and a comfortable place to stay. we would use this hotel again if visiting budapest

It was OK for what I paid. Fitness was run down. Radiator in the room rusty, heating too hot and not adjustable. Team was friendly.

See all my comments above. A big thank you to all the staff at reception - porters and concierges were superb throughout our stay. The level of comfort and convenience offered in the room were not ideal for an upgraded room, especially the lack of space for unpacking and the lack of provision of basic necessities like soap and shampoo - but the room was generally clean and the bed was comfortable, and the room was fine for our needs as we were out sightseeing all day. The breakfast experience is a real weakness: it was never relaxing or pleasant, but on the Tuesday, the staff were all working hard and doing their best, and we had a lovely welcome. The variety and quality of food on offer was also better. It would be great to find a way of reducing the noise level - perhaps some sound insulation pads in the ceiling, or wooden slats, if you feel that soft furnishings are unhygienic or hard to clean.
