I enjoyed our stay at the Continental. It is a very nice hotel and nicely placed to visit most of the attractions.

Wszystko było w jak najlepszym porządku, a nasz pobyt był bardzo przyjemny. Jedynym wyjątkiem były śniadania. Drugiego dnia, gdy zeszliśmy na śniadanie, nie było wolnego stolika, co jest zrozumiałe przy pełnym obłożeniu obiektu. Jednak kiedy jeden ze stolików się zwolnił, musieliśmy poprosić o jego posprzątanie. Pani, która przyszła, przetarła go jedynie ścierką, bez uzupełnienia brakujących elementów nakrycia. W efekcie sami musieliśmy szukać po sali sztućców, łyżek i serwetek.
Uważamy to za brak profesjonalizmu, zwłaszcza w obiekcie tej klasy. Mimo że cała reszta pobytu spełniła nasze oczekiwania, liczymy na to, że obsługa śniadań zostanie poprawiona, aby komfort gości był na równie wysokim poziomie, co pozostałe aspekty pobytu.

Not very happy with no refunding while it was 29 degrees in the room. We asked for help - no one came Friday night to assist. You gave us breakfast voucher while we already had paid for breakfast!! You should have removed half of the cost - as one of the nights it was impossible to sleep.

We are truly sorry to hear that the room temperature caused you discomfort during your first night. Please accept our apologies for the inconveniences encountered. We would like to clarify that split A/C unit in the given room is suitable for both cooling and heating. At the time of your report, our on-duty maintenance colleague checked the unit and found that it was set to 28°C, which was immediately adjusted. The remote control was also checked and found to be working properly.
We regret that this issue was not reported on the first night and that you were unable to rest comfortably then. However, we are pleased that you informed us the following day and that we were able to assist promptly, resulting in a much more comfortable second night for you. As compensation for the inconvenience, we were happy to offer you a welcome drink and a complimentary breakfast, which we are glad to know you accepted.

Regarding your request for a refund, we respectfully inform you that this is not justified in this case, as all equipment was functioning correctly and our team provided immediate assistance once the issue was brought to our attention. We sincerely appreciate your understanding in this matter.

It was our first time in Budapest - a family of four (two couples in two rooms). I made the reservation aprox. two months before our arrival and I needed some extra information. The staff was great, they helped me via phone and email.
Our time at the hotel was exceptional. If we are talking about the rooms - space, clean, warm; if we are talking about the food and the restaurant - compliments to the chefs, you must try the hotel restaurant (lovely people); if we are talking about the spirit of Christmas - perfect place to feel like a child again - in our last day at the hotel they were making the Christmas preparations: Christmas tree, people in holiday costumes, lights, ornaments - felt like magic.
Budapest was great, somehow they have managed to keep alive the authentic Christmas spirit!

A very clean location , good breakfast, close to all major points of interest for a turist after business hours
