Leider keine Veloabstellplätze
im Hause. Parkhausplätze zu unsicher für teure Fahrräder.

Overall we had a great trip to Luxembourg and we were pleased we stayed at the GHC.

Beautiful historic hotel in the center of Luxembourg. Staff were fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent old city location with no air conditioning. Staff, who try to help, upon failing, have no interest in helping said customer recover from the failure. I asked for a taxi, and was told to use the bus instead because 'all busses go to the train station'. After riding a bus to the Stadium, I was able to make my way back, but missed my train by over an hour. I asked for a room for the night because I had missed my train, and the front desk man basically yelled at me that I was stupid not to have found the train station or new train tickets. "The train goes every hour". Well, not direct, and those tickets weren't for sale! (There were options that take 13 and 17 hours instead of 4 or 5, but none of the 4 or 5 hour options were for sale.) He said, "I don't know if I have any rooms." and never responded with anything else. While in the lobby, looking for additional train tickets to buy, I booked a flight for the following day and a new hotel for that night since he clearly did not want my business. It very much soured me on your beautiful hotel. The man, is an older one with patchy hair and on the shorter side, if that helps identify him. When I checked in the night before, 2 older gentlemen were working, and the other has a full head of hair and is much taller than the one who would not call me a taxi.

Dear Guest, We thank you for having sent to me via our comments board your issue with my receptionnist. Sorry for this. Maybe he just wanted to point out to take the tram as it is cheaper and quicker but it is not his business to decide not to call you a taxi. I apologize for this behaviour.
The airconditionning issue is well noted but also on our side well written everywhere that we don't have any. We in Europe try to be a little bit more ecological and it is not a question of having or not having money. Respectful regards, Carlo Cravat

Excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it. Very grand setting felt like staying in a stately home not a hotel.

Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl im Grand Hotel Cravat und werden wiederkommen. Lage, Personal und Sauberkeit sind top, Zimmer und Bad sind in die Jahre gekommen
