At first we regretted not being nearer many of the standard tourist sites. But we came to appreciate being in a "real" Berlin neighborhood and with Gerd's help and patience, we quickly learned to get around on public transportation. Dealing with the varioius keys into the building was something of a nuisance which was more than offset by the experience of staying in a Berlin apartment - when we left after four days we felt that we had somehow been a part of the life of that fascinating city.

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Hotel ist ein schönes , stilvolles Haus. Der Aufzug zum 4. Stock war sehr speziell:), wie in alten Filmen (Krimis!)

I was charged 146 Euros / night for the large room although the confirmation was made at 136 Euros

Das Hotel hat vor allem mit seinem Fahrstuhl und den Stukkdecken sehr viel Charme, die Zimmer sind auch hübsch gestaltet.
Bei dem Übernachtungspreis wäre allerdings die Beseitigung des Geruches im Badezimmer sehr vorteilhaft. Außerdem sollte die Stärke des Wasserstrahls in der Dusche überholt werden, denn das Haare waschen wurde dadurch sehr erschwert und dauert unnötig lang.
Das sind allerdings die einzigsten Dinge, die mir negativ aufgefallen sind, sonst war der Auffenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr sehr angenehm. Auch die Lage der Zimmer stellte sich als sehr ruhig dar.

Ist ein schönes kleines Sympathisches Hotel. Zum Weiterempfehlen. Ich selbst war auch schon 2 mal dort.

We came to Art nouveau because of a recommendation hoping to find a much more warm/familiar treatment (\"one to one\").
