Déçu par le fait que l'on nous a proposé une chambre très sombre (1 volet était en panne) et que l'on a eu chaud la nuit : clim sans effet et couette d'hiver.

Excellent staff, lovely room. Great food in the restaurant and a lovely outdoor terrace. Our only slight negative was that the first EV charger we were offered was incompatible with our, and I expect most evs. The second which was booked to another guest, no problem with that, but we were given access to it for a period of time, charged at a very slow rate. Perhaps include more detailed information on the type of chargers available in the future?

Il faut mieux controller et nettoyer la chambre.
Le Petit déjeuner n‘etait pas de bonne qualité.

Loved the location, and the venue.
Disappointed with the issue with the air con, and the staff response.
Also very disappointed in the staff, having been informed that we had to wait until 7.00pm for the restaurant to open, the staff continued their meeting in the restaurant area until 7.13pm.
Total lack of appreciation of the fact we had a child that was starving and used to eating
I would have liked someone to taken that information into account when thinking about the drinks charges upon checkout.
Small gestures make a huge difference to the customer, and cost the venue very little.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Belmont, en route through France to Spain. A very frendly and helpful receptionist, lovely room (which seemed to be recently refurbished) and tranquil gardens. Really nice restaurant too, and the breakfast was excellent. A couple of comments though:
1. We noticed a few tables outside on the terrace and in the lounge that were left uncleared for the whole evening, which diesn't give a good impression.
2. Your wine list is very expensive considering that you are in a wine producing area. €39 for a bottle of Chinon from a few miles up the road seems excessive. Many French hotels offer half bottles, which would be a good option.
