superbe chambre vue magnifique et calme le soir pas été au restaurant car fermé le dimanche quel dommage car la fois précédente avions pu savourer la magnifique restauration a bientôt

We've stayed here many times but we dismayed this time to find that we couldn't eat here, not knowing it is compulsory to book a table. We've never been treated like this in a four star hotel before, indeed it's quite shocking that even if there wasn't space in the restaurant some accommodation could have been made in the bar or by room service (but no room service? Four stars?). We were quite aggressively told that it was our fault we were to go hungry. It clearly isn't run as a hotel but a restaurant with rooms on the side. €220 is very expensive for room only and if we wanted to eat in the Speranza we would have stayed in it and saved a whole lot of money. The whole affair left us very disappointed and the take it or leave attitude betrays an arrogant attitude towards customers which does not bode well.

We've been here for family celebrations as well as weekends away over many years. Thanks to the unwelcoming way in which we were treated and lack of any attempt at customer service we won't be staying again.

We went for dinner and had decided to add to the enjoyment by staying the night, the meal was as usual excellent and the service faultless and we enjoyed a goon nights sleep afterwards.
