We try to stay with you whenever we decide to go on a short break and it is always a pleasure to return. This time there was an upset for us which we should have told the reception as soon as we arrived. Someone had been smoking in the room. We informed the reception on our departure and he said “it is very difficult to control”. However there was an ashtray available on the balcony.

Positive and energizing. Weather was more than ok and made nice long walks. + You can eat very well, not only in the hotels restaurants, but also on the neighbourhood.

A very happy place for 2 nights of relaxation, just what we needed. Having been to Ypres, I learnt that John MacCrae (writer of In Flanders' Fields) was buried in Wimereux cemetery, so I was happy to visit his grave and pay my respects. This must be the best hotel in Wimereux and is frequented by many Brits returning home from their travels in Europe before they catch their ferry home - it was good to meet like-minded people in a convivial atmosphere created by the hotel staff. They gave us a peaceful space to talk and exchange views.
