We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Vicotoria. The value, location, amenities and the tremendous staff make this hotel a tremendous stop in Nurnberg!

We left after a few hours as we could not tolerate the lack of air conditioning. There was a heat spell and it was VERY hot in the room.

Thank you for your review and the time you took to write it for us! I am very pleased to read that you are convinced of the great location, the cordial employees and the cleanliness of our hotel.

We put individuality into focus and we care for each one of our guests and for their personal interests... in a very individual way! Our young and dynamic team is multi-cultural and various. A colorful mix of nationalities and personalities make our Victoria team unique! We always try to give our best to make your stay at the Victoria an unforgettable memory and to make you feel comfortable at all times.

Only with the feedback of our guests we are able to improve our services!
As the Victoria is a building from 1896 it is covered by certain burdens concerning some features. Therefore it is quite hard to install air-conditioning in all our rooms. The owners of the hotel are convinced that in the future it will be a absolutely necessary equipment feature and it is foreseen to furnish the whole house step by step in the next years.

We know that for all our guests who stay with us before the installation, this does not really help but we already want to inform you that we are a company that moves with the times and that we do not spare neither expense nor effort to offer the best for our guests.

In the meantime we try to make the circumstances as comfortable as possible for our guests and provide the fans to cool the rooms at least a bit. Your room was one of our Comfort rooms. They have a good technical position in the building and suppose of air conditioning.
To offer a cooling refreshment to all our guests and in order to sweeten your stay at our hotel during the hot summer days in Nuremberg, we invite you to enjoy free mineral water, refreshing lemonade and tasty ice lollies in the lobby from our new orange fridge at the reception ;)

Unfortunately you did not get what you expected. Most of our guests like the individual style of our hotel and our slogan "tradition made modern".

Perhaps you give us a second chance once you return to Nuremberg?

Our first time at this hotel...we would definetly consider it again on our next trip to Germany. We have our favorites in other German cities as well as resteraunts and we definetly would stay again. The portable air unit in our room was sufficient despite the warm temperature. We usually come to Germany in August but decided to come earlier to beat the heat but it beat us!

Insgesamt durchaus gut und empfehlenswert. Allerdings bedingt die zentrale Lage dass auch Nachts laute Unruhe von der Strasse in die Zimmer dringt. Wenn man die Fenster schließt ist es zwar ruhiger aber es wird dann bes. im Sommer schnell unangenehm warm. Eine Klimaanlage wäre dringend erforderlich.

vielen Dank, dass Sie sich die Zeit genommen haben um uns Ihre Erfahrungen in unserem Hotel mitzuteilen! Nur durch das Feedback unserer Gäste sind wir in der Lage uns stetig zu verbessern und um Ihnen eine noch höhere Qualität bieten zu können.

Durch unsere perfekte Lage, mitten in der Altstadt, kann es leider manchmal etwas lauter werden. Hierfür haben wir mit Schallschutzfenstern der höchsten Stufe in allen Zimmern vorgesorgt. Gerne versuchen wir jedoch bereits bei der Buchung Wünsche nach ruhigeren Zimmern auf der Rückseite des Hauses in Richtung des schönen Klarissenplatzes zu berücksichtigen.

Die Eigentümer unserer Victoria haben sich vor Kurzem für die Installation einer Klimaanlage entschieden - in einem denkmalgeschützten Haus wie unserem bedarf dies jedoch etwas mehr Zeit.
Deshalb ist geplant, das ganze Haus Schritt für Schritt in den nächsten Jahren zu klimatisieren, um den Aufenthalt unserer Gäste noch angenehmer zu gestalten.

Wir wissen, dass für alle unsere Gäste, welche vor der Installation bei uns wohnen, dies keine wirkliche Hilfe darstellt. Dennoch möchten wir Ihnen bereits heute zeigen, dass wir ein Unternehmen sind, welches mit der Zeit geht und keine Kosten und Mühen scheut, um Ihnen noch mehr Komfort bieten zu können.

Bisher hat unser Hotel leider nur in zwei Zimmerkategorien eine Klimaanlage - um aber in allen anderen Zimmern auch ein bisschen für Frische zu sorgen, stehen dort Ventilatoren für unsere Gäste bereit.

Für weitere Abkühlung an den heißen Tagen des Jahres steht ein orangener Kühlschrank an unserer Rezeption zur Verfügung, welcher mit leckerem Caretta-Eis, verschiedenen Sorten Eilles Eistee und Mineralwasser bestückt ist und an dem sich unsere Gäste gerne bedienen dürfen.

Sollten Sie wieder einmal nach Nürnberg reisen, würden wir uns freuen Sie erneut bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen!

We enjoyed our stay but it was noisy with the windows open due to the hot weather. There was a fight in the street on the Sunday morning at 0600 which disturbed us.

Our stay was very pleasurable in spite of the heat. Thanks for an enjoyable stay especially the front desk people who were friendly and extremely helpful during our stay. They should be commended for their work both morning and evening.
