My favorite hotel anywhere on the globe. I have stayed at the Hotel Victoria perhaps fifteen times, over eighteen or twenty trips to Nuernberg over the last twenty-five years. The only reason that I do not stay here is if I am too late to make a reservation and all rooms are sold out on the nights that I need -- as these are always work trips. (I always add at least a couple of days, though, for fun but also to recalibrate after time zone changes from overnight flights.)
