I enjoyed my visit, on the whole. However, I would enjoyed it more had the acceuil not been so un-professional (no receptionist at the desk on my midday arrival, and never more than one – thus frequent and lengthy waiting, and no chair or bench to sit on meanwhile); if there had been any attempt by the staff (other than the charming Nicole) to speak English); and if the appointments in my room (L8) been inadequate (no wall or door hooks, no armchair or drawers, and an apology for a "wardrobe" in the bedroom) . I should have appreciated the opportunity to upgrade, but none was offered. At no stage in my four-day visit was I aware of any management presence.
