Good and helpful staff. Positive, but at 300 Euros per night for what is essentially an up market bed and breakfast, pretty expensive.

We very much enjoyed our stay there apart from the service of people who worked there, we found almost everybody was quite rude at times apart from a couple of people that were very friendly. Surprisingly even the hotel owner didn't seem happy with us most of the time even though we were nothing but nice in return. The wi-fi didn't work most of the time, it kept cutting out every 2 minutes and if we wanted to speak to our family we had to do it in a corridor as the connection seemed better there. We also had trouble with hairdryers in both rooms we stayed in, one didn't switched off for ages and one didn't work unless you pressed a button whilst using it for the whole time! On one occasion we were very sick, so we put a Do not disturb sign on the door, The housekeepers chose to completely ignore it and still knocked on our door a couple times as well as made so much noise right outside our door by talking very loudly and banging into our door. We had to open the door and ask them to keep the noise down. Overall, the location and rooms were good as well as the facilities but most of the time we didn't feel welcome.

We are very suprised about the rude welcome you have felt from our staff. It's usualy a strenght here and we always try to be very nice to all our guests.
About the hair dryer and the noise there is only one way to sort this out, call the reception desk. Your comfort is our priority but sometimes, especially when the hotel is full, it's difficult to make it all work perfectly so don't be ashame to ask.

Good location, close to lifts, but noisy -traffic even at night, rooms are really old and badly need upgrading

Thanks for your evaluation and comments. We are very surprised though. You had one of our best twin room with a view and a balcony and it has been redecorated last year in an woody chalet atmosphere. We never had any complain about this room and we feel very sorry you didn't like it.
About the noise it's true that this side of the hotel is facing the main street and it can be a bit noisy sometimes but if it was a problem for you we could have tried to find you another room facing north for example. Same thing about the smell, why didn't you tell us about this? You have stayed here for more than a week, we could have tried to find you a solution.

Again we feel sorry that you didn't have the best stay here in our hotel and we appologize for the inconvenience.
