A pleasant experience with comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and ski-friendly facilities. Hotel could be a little noisy at night, we were plagued on or floor with people knocking and banging on doors late into most nights, the worst being awakened at 5am; but that is not the hotel's fault.

Fantastic. We stumbled on the hotel because we needed somewhere in Tignes that was close to a conference hotel but not too expensive: Le Refuge came up in an internet search. The hotel is family-run and family members seem to be always on-hand to look after guests. It's about as close to the skiing and local restaurants as you could get. One piece of advice: don't bother to take a car. The drive up to and down from le Lac is horrible. You have to pay to store your car in an underground car park. It isn't needed during your stay because there are free buses to move around the local villages. A taxi / minibus would be much less cost and effort.

Dear Mr HACKING,

Thank you so much for your kind comment, it has been a real pleasure to accomodate you with our hotel.

We look forward to welcoming you again.

Kindest Regards

Le Refuge staff.
