Very helpful desk staff. We were too tired from an overnight flight to explore much of the neighborhood but it seemed nice.
Very nice stay. Would definitely recommend to others.
This is our second time staying at the New Orient Paris and we really enjoy the room, cleanliness, location and staff at the hotel.
Nice place, neat, the elevator is a bit of a problem - not for people with walking problems.
Fantastic accommodations and close to the Metro! Our hosts answered all of our questions and we had an amazing stay. Very clean hotel and we really loved our terrace! We would definitely stay again.
I stayed here because of reviews in the NY Times and travel advisors. That was a number of years ago-2007. Since then I came back in 2013 and 2014 because of the location, but most importantly, because of the helpful staff. It is quaint and perfect for my needs.
I will definitely stay here again. The neighbourhood is interesting, safe and you feel like you're living in a 'real' part of the city - not a tourist section. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance to choose from for dinner and there are three Metro stations very close by to use - depending on which line you want. For an expensive city like Paris, this beautiful, affordable little hotel was a wonderful find.
I absolutely loved this hotel and was sad to leave. The staff were wonderful and friendly and very helpful. It was my birthday a few days before coming and they wrote me a birthday card which was such a lovely thing to do. I really loved my time here and am so grateful to have found this. I can't wait to come back!
A Gem Hotel in Paris. Almost 30 years ago we have stayed in this hotel until we have moved to an apartment nearby where we lived for few years. Now, that we brought our 17 years old grandson with us to introduce him to our beloved Paris, we chose to déjà vu to the same quartier and the same hotel. What a great choice! The hotel is a real gem. It is a small family hotel, run by the same proprietors, Catherine and Josef Wehrle, who give every guest a warm welcoming and every possible help. This great couple are always at the spot. They and all the staff - the front desk personnel, the cleaning ladies, and the host at the dining room - are very friendly and very helpful, open to any question or need of the guests, day and night. It is a real old style Parisian hotel, with a beautiful décor of another époque. Yet, it has been tastefully modernized with all the necessary amenities that are needed - air conditioned and efficiently Wi-Fi connected. The rooms are not too big, but amazingly cozy. We had two rooms - one for a couple with a flower bedded balcony overlooking the Rue Constantinople, and one single room for our grandson (a garçonnierre). All were immaculately clean, and the linens were changed every day. The breakfast was wonderful, with fresh pastries and croissants of all kinds baked early in the morning at the corner boulangerie. One can choose between a continental breakfast and a buffet which is very rich - contains pastries, fruits, cereals, all kind of cheese, meats, etc. – and the coffee was great. A great start for the morning. The hotel location is great. Nearby there is the daily wonderful market of Rue de Levis and across the street one can find a lovely supermarket and a Laundromat – all very convenient. The hotel is in a walking distance to the magnificent Park Monceau and to the Gare de Saint Lazare SNCF RER links (bringing you to any place in Paris including the Château de Versailles.) The Metro Villiers station is in a short walking distance and within three Metro stations to the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. We highly recommend this hotel. There is no doubt that in our next visit to Paris we will come back to the New Orient Hotel!
We always enjoy staying at the New Orient, and did so again this trip. A pleasure to stay with you
