We had a wonderful first-time stay in Berlin. It was great to see a warm, smiling face and have a friendly greeting as we got into a bustling and unfamiliar city upon arrival. It put us at ease immediately.
We received excellent tourist information and got suggestions on where to eat in the neighborhood....and there are plenty of unique places within a very short walking distance...the neighborhood was very diverse.
Our room was simple, but comfortable. We were on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. We had a small balcony and plenty of windows to open for fresh air. It was close to public transportation and we were able to head out for sightseeing with guidance from the staff.

Nice hotel and easy to get to the center of Berlin. Staff quite helpful, very nice and friendly.

Wonderful welcome - building numbering confused our Berlin taxi driver, but a phone call and the proprietor was out on the street waving us in.
There are a lot of stairs to negotiate - not a problem for us, but people should be aware in advance.

Nach unserem ersten Aufenthalt 2006 war es auch jetzt wieder genau so gut wie wir es in Erinnerung hatten.
