Very friendly and helpful place, located not far from the Zoo train station and not far from bus stop, S-bahn station, and U-station. If you plan to use public transport in Berlin, which you should do, this is a convenient location. It is not, however, within walking distance of Museum Island or Unter den Linden, centers of the old "East German" capital. You can get there via public transportation quite easily, however.

The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful! The breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay there!

Alles prima - nur hatten wir leider kein warmes Wasser beim Duschen.

The host Charlie was very friendly and helpful. The location is good, but street noise late at night made it difficult to sleep. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay. It was an interesting old building, and a good location from which to explore Berlin.

Outstanding service and help from the staff. They were very nice and gave us excellent tips about Berlin. They made you feel like family! The place is very clean, but shows signs of lots of use. Floors are very creaky, and the bed was very low to the ground. But, the staff made it all worthwhile!!!
