C'est un bon aquarium qui est dans le respect de la nature et de la biodiversité. L'immersion est réussi, les différentes salles sont bien organisé. Il y a quelques détails à amélioré mais rien de choquant.

Our first stop was the restaurant just inside the main gate. The experience we had there affected the atmosphere of our whole visit.

The counter was staffed by 2 men in their late 40's or so. They started their interaction with us in a fairly grumpy manner, making it clear they didn't really want to be having to serve somebody (we were the only people in the entire restaurant). As soon as they picked up that we were not French their laziness turned to outright rudeness and barely concealed xenophobia. They refused to tolerate my poor French at all.

I tried my hardest to speak the language of my hosts, but the help I usually get was completely absent. It was as if they wanted me to fail, and tried their hardest to not respond to anything that wasn't perfectly correct.
After such a humiliating exchange, where they unsurprisingly served us the wrong things, I felt fairly down about the rest of our visit.

The two "gentlemen" in question pretty much ruined our visit by setting the tone of what to expect. Despite this, all other staff were wonderful and seemed to genuinely enjoy helping me improve my French, and seemed pleased that I was trying.

Restauration peu convenable sandwichs avec peu de garniture. Beaucoup de monde devant les aquariums et beaucoup à lire. Il y a plus à lire sur panneaux que d ´aquarium a voir.

Beaucoup trop de monde trop de perte de temps à attendre pour regarder les aquariums

En raison de la période très touristique en Bretagne et de la météo maussade de ces derniers temps, Océanopolis connait (comme tous les acteurs du tourisme en Bretagne) une forte affluence. Nous regrettons que n'ayez pas pu apprécier votre visite.
Nous vous invitons si vous le pouvez à venir visiter Océanopolis en dehors de la période estivale et par une météo plus clémente. Le confort de visite sera plus appréciable.
