Les Ormes, Domaine & Resort

Fantastic holiday enjoyed by the whole family, loved every minute of it and wish were still there!

We spent 5 nights in Les Ormes
We were with our family and our 2 young grandchildren.

Loved the tree house, but don’t think would visit again, not enough variety for food, desperately need to get a coffee shop, no bar b q area for the tree house which was disappointing. I really don’t understand why everywhere has to close for lunch, this just doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world!

Good in general.stayed in taos.it was falling apart...sockets,plugs, etc.veey poor quality fixtures and fittings.rails coming apart at front on deck.quality of outdoor furniture very poor.goid dishwasher and fridge.

We had a wonderful time in les Ormes

Très bonne 1ère fois aux Ormes en camping avec cabanon. Le domaine est très bien agencé, pas trop de voitures, pas trop de monde à la piscine (pas encore les vacances scolaires françaises), dépaysé car beaucoup d'Irlandais. Petit bémol très bruyant la nuit avec quelques fêtards jusque 5h et les lève tôt dès 6h.

Good, a bit pricy compared to other campsites e.g 3.40 for small scoop of ice cream compared to 1.70 elsewhere. Elsewhere had free tennis, 6 euro per head at Les Ormes. 6.75 for a pint vs 4.90 elsewhere Water Slides small compared to other campsites.

Honestly, we had a really great time. The venue, the staff and facilities were all wonderful. There were lots of options for activities and suitable for all ages groups.
We tried both the pizza and the cafe restaurants which were both very nice.
The beer in the bar however was very overpriced at €8 per pint.
On a negative note, the campsite was quite noisy at night. Other tents had loud music on until 2 or 3 am on some nights and there was very little or no security to control this.
On one occasion I tried to phone reception but it rang out. It might be an idea to have this line redirect to security after hours?
There wasn't much entertainment after dinner when all the daily activities have closed.
The English level of the staff was very good although we tried to use out French where possible.
The site is in a great location only 2hrs from roscoff port and there are loads of beautiful towns and cities within 30min drive for days out.
There are loads of lovely walk/run/cycle routes around the site but these are very poorly marked so easy to get mixed up.
There is signs of development in the main village centre so looking forward to seeing this.
On balance, we really enjoyed our time in Les Ormes and indeed France and would definitely recommend a visit!

Domaine magnifique. Il est très grand (un village) mais tout est séparé en petite zone permettant de ne pas se sentir oppresser. Pleins de services proposés.
Nous avons testé la cabane dans les arbres et la cabane sur l'eau, justes magnifiques!
