The site is lovely and the treehouse and cottage properties are a real treat.

Camped on premium pitch with large family tent. The premium pitches are primarily set up for caravans with large area on hard standing ground. The grassed area for the tent round up being quite snug / shy on space as result. Ideal for caravan.. not worth it for tent..

Toilets / wash facilities were spotless best I've seen for such large site.

Activities available on site are superb, best available. MUCH better value than centre Parcs. The Dome swimming pool was much loved by all. The kids loved the high ropes courses. So much to do at the site. You get two hours on the course which is enough time tp do each course two/three times. Much better than UK equivalent.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Only 3 gripes to report.

This is a noisy site. Bar is serves up to 0000 but music/ partying went well into 0200hrs-0300hrs with drunk teenagers/revellers making usual noise as they make way home. If you were in accommodation not much of an issue but when staying in a tent close to centre with a young family I found it infuriating. Earplugs are a must.. This went on for 3 nights straight and sounded like an open air rave.

There used to be two restaurants on site. One for families which offered limited family friendly menu, the other for fine dining / adult bistro to cater for the more upmarket. I was sad to find they have now ditched the family restaurant In favour of turning it into a dedicated takeaway with No table service. You can sit/eat if lucky but no table service and very busy. Food was still the same but had reduced it's charm and felt like a step backwards.

Site is ideally located. Wonderful sites. Go into nearby Comburg or Dol De Bretagne for some great restaurants.

Site offers free WiFi but it barely if ever worked. Needs improvement.. If you need WiFi to work while on holiday or keep kids quiet with streaming a film it will not be good enough. (That said whole point of holiday is to get away from WiFi and have family time so not really a gripe).

Overall. This is a great site in my favourite part of France. It is an ideal stopping point for St.Malo ferry port for a short stay at end of holiday or for a week of activity..

I've been coming to this site since I was 10yrs old as a kid and now with my family. Highly recommend it. Ditch the overnight raves and its a perfect/if not best site in France.

Fantastic infrastructure and activities especially for the children, the grounds are absolutely lovely great for cycling or walking. The only down side was staff were either very professional and friendly and helpful or actually pretty rude in the way they delt with clients (sometimes towards myself but other times what i observed). On arrival the first day, we were given our wrist bands but the girl said she was unable to give us any other information until our room was ready. No call for the room and the weather was very hot, when i went to reception they just said we have been calling you for an hour (i had not recieved a call) and that we should be happy as they have our room ready at 16h instead of 17h. We had been for a walk and saw the cleaner finish the Datcha at 12h. All the activities we did went well, acrobranche, tyrolienne, pools, bouée, horse riding, driving range. The teacher of my daughters horseriding lesson was very good the lesson was excellent. So good i booked a ride/ trott for my 68 year old mother who is a good horserider but i explained she hadnt been for 15 years, a different instructor choose her a horse that constantly dropped to her knees making the ride very uncomfortable and she was in pain for the next few days. This was unfortunate as i had explained and it was also obvious my mother is not young, the other riders in the group we much younger. The horses are so well cared for i found it strange to choose this one for my mother as when we care so well for animals we know their habits. The Datcha was very origional we really loved the garden and terrace. The bedrooms were also nice. The bathrooms were not great, the shower was either boiling hot or ice cold impossible to find something inbetween, we had to shower the kids at the pool. If you had a shower water was everywhere under the bin, dripping from the sink etc...even with the curtain. It was acceptably clean but not fantastic.
