We loved the location of the hotel and enjoyed looking out the window. You could walk to the train station and all the sites. It was a perfect place to stay in Dresden.

The noise interfered with sleeping and cast a negative pall over the entire experience. Except for that and the lack of consistent computer access, everything was fine. We particularly appreciated the safe and ice tray. If you expect to get to sleep before 1 or 2 am, you need to stay elsewhere. We were frustrated by the concept of "quiet time." we were not supposed to run the washing machine when it was most convenient for us to do so because of quiet time, while at the same time the bedlam from outside made it difficult to converse.
