Es ist immer angenehm bei Ihnen zu übernachten, allein der Aufang zu den Zimmern ist ein Genuß. Das Knatscher der Holzdielen, die Kunst an den Wänden, wunderbar.

Einzig die Bahnlinie ist natürlich enorm laut, durch Zimmerwechsel konnte hier ein bischen Abhilfe geschaffen werden.

The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate etc. The charm of the hotel and the individually decorated rooms cannot be surpassed and the staff service was both generous and courteous. Light sleepers may want to consider proximity to the train line but this did not interfere with the comfort of my stay. I would happily return.

My train got in a little late from brussels, but it was an easy hike to the hotel. Everyone was very pleasant, and my room was pristine. I expected it would be a bit spartan, but the art work warmed it up. The bathrooms and common areas likewise were spotless.
I have already given the name of this hotel to several artists friends who want to go to Berlin.--john
