Nice stay in an original hotel.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, das Zimmer hatte alles Nötige, das Bad über den Flur war sauber und neu, der Innenhof war ruhig, die Lage zum Zebtrum war optimal, der Fahrradverleih hat einwandfrei funktioniert; lediglich die Beleuchtung an den 3 Rädern hat bei keinem Rad funktioniert.

the decoration and design of the room is so special!! very good! different from ordinary hotel!!

We checked in, quite a bit late due to flight problems, but the staff was very helpful and understanding. We had to switch rooms halfway through the stay, but that was cool because we wanted to see what other roomas where like anyways! Sooo... overall great experience and recommend this hotel to anyone!

Kulturreise

Overall, a good experience (pleasant lobby, helpful staff, very clean, comfortable beds), but the trains passing by throughout the night is very loud and that is a serious drawback. Although I was happy with the hotel, I probably would not return because of the trains.

Das Zimmer 522 entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Die Art der Darstellung auf Ihrer Website ist sehr hilfreich bei der Auswahl. Die Lage des Zimmers war allerdings Glückssache. Lobenswert die Sauberkeit.

We did not stay at the hotel because when we arrived - our room smelled of fresh paint (which is normally a good sign of a clean place) - however the smell was quite strong especially if we closed the windows which would have been needed to shut out the noise from the street and train track next door.

We asked the desk to switch rooms but were told there were some other options available but not for all 3 nights - and that the management did not like people to stay in one room for one night and another for the other nights.

That is understandable given it is holiday time and last minute - although it sounded like there could have been a way to change at least for one or more nights but that it was not preferable to the hotel to do this.

We ended up finding a different hotel choice and checking out. Fortunately we only paid one night and were able to cancel the other two. The person who checked us out and helped us leave a message for our friends (who were also staying there), was very helpful and polite.

Overall I think this is a nice hotel for some - the artistic style is cool and fun - however, for pure comfort, I would not recommend this hotel (loud street and train, hard beds, sparse furnishings)

ich hatte bunt gemischte gaeste, von 22 bis 54 jahre - bemaengelt wurde das fruehstueck und die tlw. lauten zimmer.
das thema laute zimmer kann jedoch bei der naechsten buchung bestimmt beruecksichtigt werden.

Berlin ist immer eine Reise wert, außer das alles nicht mehr so ist wie vor 10 Jahren, weniger Aktionsgalerien ect.,war ich sehr überrascht von diesem Kunsthotel. auf Komfort , wie Fernseher und Bad auf den Zimmer habe ich verzichtet, da es in Berlin genug zu sehen gibt. Das Pferd , das durch mein gebuchtem Zimmer sprang und überhaupt die Gestaltung war wirklich ein Erlebnis.
