Fantastic combination of a hotel with character in a great location with extremely friendly staff. The rooms are on the 3rd floor of an old building, all decorated to bring out the original features. There are wooden floors throughout which can get a bit creaky in the night but that is to be expected. The old lift up to the 3rd floor is a marvel in itself. The location is in easy walking distance of great restaurants and local bars, and is just 4 mins walk away from the nearest train station. Tour buses can also be accessed from in front of the nearby Ka De We department store. Breakfasts are great and well worth the extra cost. They will even cook items to order for you. The staff are really helpful and do their best to make you feel at home. I would love to be able to return some day.
