Fantastic hotel only downside is the breakfast could have more choice of hot food, and the towels could be bigger. Location is very central to all on the Pest side.

We are regular visitors in Budapest with Hungarian family in the area. We made our reservation late because we were not sure of our travel plans until last minute. This was an error as the prices were doubled for the formula1 weekend. Overall, this was probably the least charming hotel we've ever stayed in. The price was extremely high due to the formula 1 competition. The rooms open up to an inside, enclosed area. Modern and without any particular charm. The air is stale. No possibility to open a window. Like an airport. Actually, it feels like you are a fish in a fishbowl. Overall, no interaction with the outside. This is a shame because Budapest is so lovely and lively. Really this is a fine hotel for business people who have no actual interest in opening their eyes to the city around them. For those who know the city well, this is a hotel to avoid.

Dear Guest,

We highly appreciate your review.
In my opinion, the room choice was not tailored to you and it is more crucial if the price is extremely high due to the F1, when there is an extreme demand for the rooms. I am almost sure, that you would have been satisfied with our Standard Plus Room category.

We hope that you will give us another try in a before mentioned room.

My overall experience at Atrium Hotel was fantastic. Everything was perfect. Hence, my opinion of Budapest is that it is a very likeable city not just for its beautiful monuments but, also for the friendly and helpful staff at the hotel.
