I and my family stayed frequently in this hotel, named after my great uncle, the last time 13 years ago. At that time we had a suite of rooms with comfortable chesterfield, armchairs and table in the common room. Now the rooms are devoid any semblance of comfort with IKEA type furniture. The lighting above the washbasin in the bathroom is hard to reach for an average height person and it did not work in my daughter's room. The shower had to be held by hand as in both rooms the holder was loos.

Location was the reason I choose this hotel. Room I got was very spacious with kitchen. Rooms were clean and breakfast was OK even though the breakfast room was small but manageable. Staff was very courteous and very helpful. Especially the lady at the reception was very helpful.

Reception is at 5th floor with an odd security on the ground floor. Moment we reached 5th floor many teenagers sitting on the ground outside the lift area. Many others sitting in groups in the pathway to hotel room. No hotels allows this kind of behavior from hotel guests and makes one feel unsafe and unpleasant experience. Wifi works only some floors and common area.
