We enjoyed our stay at Baross City Hotel. The room could do with redecorating as it looked a little dated, but it was comfortable enough during our stay. Saying that, I would have preferred air conditioning in the room as it got very hot at night. It was a little noisy outside, but earplugs soon fixed that problem and anyone used to living in a city wouldn't notice it I imagine. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I'd go there again.

I and my family stayed frequently in this hotel, named after my great uncle, the last time 13 years ago. At that time we had a suite of rooms with comfortable chesterfield, armchairs and table in the common room. Now the rooms are devoid any semblance of comfort with IKEA type furniture. The lighting above the washbasin in the bathroom is hard to reach for an average height person and it did not work in my daughter's room. The shower had to be held by hand as in both rooms the holder was loos.
