Although it is only a Best Western Plus (and not a 4 or 5 stars hotel), our expectations were not met during this stay. We had stayed in 2-3 stars hotels and enjoyed more. We would say the Front Desk was good, but the restaurant a total nightmare. The room was OK but surely could improve. Another strange experience was that we had to do our own laundry?!? We chose your hotel as it was a mid-point for our 12d road trip in Brittany. We are frequent travelers (average 4-6 times/yr), and our practice is to pack less, choose a place which has laundry facilities midway. From our previous experiences, it was always put your dirty cloths in the bag provided, complete the check-list, give the bag to house-keeping and just wait for the clean clothes to come back same or next day. With you, there was no check-list, no pricing list and when enquired, Front Desk could only tell us it is EUR5 per article (doesn't matter if it is a pair of socks, a pair of jeans, a dress shirt, or a big jacket), and they could not guarantee when the clean laundries will be returned, could be same day, could be next or next next day?!? We were told however, if you wish, you could do it yourself for free. Considering it would cost us > EUR100 plus we did not want to dispute in case items went missing, we did it ourselves and had to stay up late passed 01h, in order to ensure we had a chance to use the sole washer and dryer. If this was a B&B, it's understandable, but you are a Best-Western Plus, what a weird surprise and surely something to tell our friends about!
