The bed was far too soft and asked if something could be done; it was still too soft. Thought when we checked in that we were told coffee and tea, and snacks were complimentary. On Checking out, charged for them. Got a package sent to me and asked. Receptionist told me nothing received. After a few phone calls, I returned to advise it had been. The staff then went to Check the mailbox, and there was my package. Very disappointed with this hotel. As iPrefer member, then very disappointed.

Our stay in Munich was absolutely stunning from start to finish. The hotel exceeded our expectations in almost every way. The rooms were beautifully designed, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the views were simply breathtaking — waking up to that scenery was a highlight of our trip.

The service was attentive, the amenities well thought out, and we truly loved everything about the property. It felt like a perfect blend of comfort and luxury, and it really made our time in Munich special.

However, the bathroom layout was a significant drawback. The design of the door and overall setup made it inconvenient to use. Given the level of the hotel and the price per room, it was disappointing that such a basic element was not executed to a higher standard. For a property of this caliber, we expected much better.

Overall, we would still recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich. It’s a gem with unforgettable views and an exceptional atmosphere — just be prepared for a bathroom design that doesn’t quite match the rest of the hotel’s excellence.

Very Nice modern boutique hotel in the perfect location.
The staff was great! Made our brief stay very enjoyable.

Service was excellent except the night a fire alarm went off in an adjacent building which triggered the alarm in our building, The night manager obviously was not trained to handle such a situation. He really did not know what to do and after the “all clear” from the fire department, how to turn off the alarm that continued to ring. Fortunately no one staying there that night panicked and we guided ourselves down the staircase. Definitely there needs to be emergency procedures in place to prevent such confusion in the future. We loved staying at this hotel. Marienplatz is the center of alot of activities so we reserved a junior suite with a wonderful view of the platz and the glockenspiel. The windows are at least double paned (if not triple paned) so noise is not an issue….even though we were there during the beginning of Oktoberfest with lots of people visiting the area. I met other travelers staying in good hotels in the area, and they had noise problems when trying to sleep. We did not. The hotel has a secure door to enter from and staff always greeted us with smiles on their faces to ensure they recognized us. Felt safe. Had snacks always available for free and fruited water readily available. Didn’t eat breakfast there, but did have them prepare one dinner meal which was very good. Yes, it is expensive but a nice splurge if you need the convenience to the old town of Munich and very easy access to the S-bahn to get to the airport.

Excellent location and wonderful staff. Room was too warm at night and temperature could not be reduced below 18’, plus an explanation that the thermostat won’t work if the window was open would have been helpful. Bed comfortable, duvet and pillows were fluffy and quite warm.

Hotel is very well located. The entrance is underwhelming. Our room lacked a magnifying (makeup) mirror which had been requested.

Hoher Preis. Es ist jeden einzelnen Euro wert. DANKE

Positives
Very good, helpful staff who helped with everything we needed. Geat room with nice fittings, we enjoyed having the huge bath, terrace and extra bathroom, extras at reception are a nice bonus. Lovely and quiet too, minus the church bells and glockenspiel that seem to go on forever at random times!

Negatives
The minibar is small and warm, not particularly useful if you like to buy your own drinks or food.

The mattress seems to be memory foam and so had the physical depressions of other guests, not comfortable and we didn't sleep well.

Tiny towels.

Would definitely stay again if in München.
