Canto Del Sol Plaza Vallarta Beach Resort

We found our stay very relaxing. The staff were kind, friendly and very helpful. I was very impressed with the cleaning staff. The bathrooms, deck chairs, garbage cans, beach showers were all cleaned on a regular basis throughout the day.
The only complaint we had was the location of the smokers, right on the beachfront where it was best to sit and watch the surf. I would not want to arrive out front to them either, nor have the smoke around the pool, so I’m not sure if I have a suggestion here. I did greatly appreciate there being no smoking in any of the common areas of the resort!

We found the resort charming. Lack a little in how to keep people having fun. Music in my opinion was terrible. When music changed people started moving and singing and showed they enjoyed it...only to go back to whatever awful music afterward. Food was good and drinks were ok although very limited. Staff with knowledge of the city seemed to not exist and found ourselves not knowing where to go.

We will definitely return with our children.

La verdad fue excelente, es la tercera vez que vamos en dos años, anteriormente fue en familia ya que tenemos dos hijos pequeños y cada vez nos encanta más el hotel. Es un hotel familiar muy bueno. Gracias por su atención!!

Excellent! We stayed at the Villas but had access to the Canto (we stayed at the Canto last year). Our room and the hotel in general is pristinely clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the food is good, the house wines are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the cerviche bar at lunch time. Will we come back? Absolutely!!

Please note that we have tried to be completely honest with you about our views of the resort on this questionnaire. Of course we love Canto Del Sol or we would not return. However, we believe there are some areas that could use improvement. If people don't give you "honest feedback" then you never realize that there are areas that could use improvement. We are always open to talking to you face to face if necessary. We hope you feel comfortable asking us additional questions if necessary. Our overall experience is AMAZING! We will be back at the end of October 2019. We have elected to hide our names publicly but have no problem sharing our names and comments with the staff.

I would recommend this place to anyone. From the food to the accommodations, to the LOCATION, to the staff it was all wonderful. The gentleman with his great sense of humour EVERYDAY for breakfast in the Vallarta Villa in the vintage hotel started our day out with great pleasure. The staff at the customer desk where we made a la carte reservations made us laugh everyday. They were so much fun. More seating in the lobby bar is the only thing I see needed.

We enjoy staying here as it is a smaller resort with very friendly staff and close enough to downtown that it is an easy walk.
