Our stay at Chateau Bouceel was absolutely a highlight of our three week trip to France. The Estate is so enchanting, so refined, so comfortable and the family made us feel as if we were part of their family. We were only able to stay one night and only wish we could have stayed longer. Every single detail about the experience was perfect.

amazing place to stay. Regis is the perfect host and its well worth spending some time to hear his stories. Don't be put off by the communal dinner and breakfast, it's a great way to socialise with other guests.

A wonderful house, full of history but without lacking any modern comfort. The owner is a very friendly, distinguished man, you really feel at home. The breakfast is delicious, the only problem was that we hadn't have more time to spent at this beautiful place! Thank you very much!

Cette demeure offre des sensations exceptionnelles, l’histoire du château nous a été racontée en partie par son propriétaire dont l’amour pour celle-ci nous a profondément touché, outre le fait que le service soit impeccable, il règne dans cet endroit une atmosphère à découvrir.
Moment inoubliable.
Moment trop court, au moins deux jours sur place sont nécessaire pour éviter la frustration.

The Baron and his family exemplify what a cultured class should represent: generosity, intelligence, graciousness — and an attention to detail to see that everything from the care of the grounds to the jam at breakfast is “just right.” The furnishings are all authentic and the floorboards in the hallways tilt and squeak to remind you of those who have passed this way through the centuries. My stay was completely enjoyable. I experienced a part of French culture I would have missed otherwise. The dinners were memorable and ask the Baron to tell you some stories over a glass of “eau de vie.”

Une demeure magique où absolument s'arrêter pour y savourer la présence du temps qui a passé à travers les âges de la Famille De Roquefeuil que Monsieur le Comte saura si bien vous narrer . Un saut dans le temps au sein d'une bulle de calme de paix d'élégance de sérénité comme une pause délicate hors des problèmes de la vie citadine d'aujourd'hui... bref , un poème :-)
