A reasonable hotel in a pretty good location - plenty of sights within walking distance, OK for dining out in the vicinity. Pity the hotel is not properly air conditioed, but it is reasonably comfortable

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the hotel Continental Zara. The staff were extremely polite, courteous and helpful. We also found the hotel excellent value for money and brilliantly located for exploring the city. I would certainly book again!

A very pleasant and smart looking hotel conveniently located to get to by public transport and to explore the city by foot. It was very clean with very helpful staff who are very willing to offer advice on where to go and what to see. We didn't have enough time to use the restaurant or leisure facilities but both looked excellent. Budapest is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. We intend to return soon because of this and would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to our friends.

When I arrived the reception staff said they did not have the reservation which meant I had to look up the reservation number online in reception and waited at least 30 minutes before I could check in.

Although the mistake was not on our side - no reservation has been made for you by the travel agent - we had no reason to waste your time so long. I do apologize for that. Our stay was overall very, very enjoyable and more than satisfactory. The staff were excellent and always helpful. Our only criticism would be the lack of privacy enforced on guests by the almost communal seating arrangements for breakfast.
