All staff were very welcoming and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and always very clean. The pool and spa area were very relaxing

Entrance door hinted at Communist grandeur. Beyond foyer there followed modern, clean and slightly oriental style in rooms.

My friend and I both thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Zara. Staff were very friendly and always appeared happy to help. The hotel was clean and well run.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and their service. However as we were leaving, we asked the reception to book a taxi to take us to the airport. This because we had been warned about taking random taxies in the street. The cab we were assigned, (a black Mercedes e class about 2007 model), didn't have a taxi sign on the roof, but a meter was installed. When we arrived at the airport the fare stopped at about 7500 huf, about the same as we payed when we arrived. We payed with a 10000 bill, but the driver claimed to only have received 1000. We didn't have time to argue with him too long, as we hade a plane to catch, so we ended up paying the fare + 10000, (total 17500 huf). One should think that the reception provided reliable cabs, especially since the hotel warns about unreliable cabs in their brochure.
