Budapest is now one of my favourite cities, the hotel is beautifully finished with a very modern European style but keeping many original features of the Hungaria Baths. Service was good staff helpful, room a fair size for a city hotel. Some call the area seedy but as a single female I never felt at risk and everyone I passed even on a saturday night at 2am either moved to accomodate on the narrow pavement or smiled and was polite. The standard of English in general of every hungarian I spoke to was excellent especially at the Hotel. Beds were very comfortable, water pressure in shower excellent, air-con quiet, room very clean. Only problems were the over or undercooked eggs on the breakfast buffet and a slightly leaky shower that needed a washer replaced. On a personal preference note there were no Hungarian channels on the TV, so difficult to get an idea of the local media. As two single female tourists we were never hassled. Budapest and hotel Continental Zara with its beautiful doors come highly recommended.

We found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. They made our stay very enjoyable and we could have asked for more. Thank you.

I had to call to find out how the tv works and my colleagues couldn't find out either. The biggest problem though seemed to be an awful smell all over which later we identified as the cleaning liquid !!! Please change it!!! Other than that the room was great !

Ontbijt in 1 woord SUPER!!
Spa ook heerlijk na een dagje wandelen.
Als ik terug naar Budapest ga, zou ik dit hotel zeker terug overwegen.

Fist time in Budapest and would recommend this Hotel. It was in an ideal position to explore the city. Staff were very helpful when we had any questions and getting a room upgrade was a lovely surprise. The Hotel is gorgeous. Our bathroom was my favourite thing, but also slept like a log in the bed. Hopefully will be back again sometime

Staff very attentive and room decor chic and contempory. Amenities good and, having an Executive room, there was space to put things away. Location a little away from main area but generally an easy walk to everywhere.
Breakfast had a good selection and, although it was busy on occasions, staff were clearing tables and keeping the buffet filled. Everywhere spotlessly clean.

About the spa

It would be great that the person in charge of welcoming people , propose a key for the locker, a bath robe and so on. this person ( young blond man) does nothing behind his desk. otherwise the SPA is awesome : the place is clean and the water is warm. The wiew is very good as well.
Other thing, the guest supplies and amenities ( Pascal Morabito ) are excellent. besides, You should put slippers in your room.
regards

A true 4 star Hotel. It was a pleasant experience. Next time I'll be in Budapest, probably I'll choose it again.
