We forgot to ask for a non smokers room.
In our room there had been smoked before.
Smoking should not be alowed in the rooms

A recommendation, put a support in the shower or slip stickers, I broke a toe when i slide giving a shower and the only support that has the shower is the door and moves.

Budapest is a wonderful city, weather was brilliant and whole experience was excellent. Hotel Zara was brilliant and ideal location (not too central not too far). Great breakfast and great facilities, club sandwich I would recommend along with the beer. Front desk staff were amazing, excellent english and oh so helpful. Want to return and stay for longer to do the things we missed. Would recommend both Boat and Bus Tours to see 'lay of the land' first day and see what you want to visit. Lots of tourists. Watch for cafe prices on the bigger touristy squares and take your walking shoes to enjoy fully.
Overall, a fantastic long weekend never to be forgotten.

At the restaurant we wanted to change teh table. The situation of the offered table was at the corner close to the door.....

Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived at this beautifully restored building. We were impressed that even though tea/coffee making facilities were not in the room, they were provided on request without further cost. Free internet use was a bonus and, you can request the use of a lap top!!

The hotel was nice and decorated well, but location was less than ideal. The staff was friendly at times, but not all the time. I sometimes felt as if they would have rather we not ask them questions. Our room was not sufficiently cleaned (compared to other hotels I have been to) during the day. The wellness center was unique and a nice highlight to our stay.

at the restaurant level that you have, the customer shouldn´t need to ask for the spoon for the starter AND dessert. during 4 nights we never got cotton sticks, only empty 'tube' stayed in bathroom. once also only one towel was changed, not all (for 2 persons). Small cases, but if you have 4-star hotel, those shold be automatically handled well.
