Continental Hotel Budapest

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was an okay experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, there were a few things that could be improved.

The breakfast selection was decent, but it could have been better in terms of variety and quality. The swimming pool was a nice addition, but the water wasn’t as clear as I expected. Additionally, some of the reception staff had difficulty understanding English, which made communication a bit challenging at times.

Despite these minor issues, my stay was pleasant. With a few improvements, this hotel could be an even better choice for travelers.

Overall a pleasant experience, and a very good night sleep

Our stay was okay overall, but there were several issues. The sink in our room was blocked (surprisingly, no one had reported it before us), and it took quite a while to get it fixed. The beds, though technically separate, were placed so close together that there was no gap between them. The room itself was quite small, very hot, and took a long time to cool down. Additionally, there was an unpleasant sewage smell.

There were also long queues to enter breakfast, which was frustrating. We considered booking a massage, but the lady informed us that she required a one-hour break after every one-hour session. We've never encountered this policy anywhere else, and it made scheduling difficult. Blocking out three hours for two people during a short weekend trip just wasn’t practical, so we decided against it.

Overall, while the stay was fine, these inconveniences made it less enjoyable than expected.

Budapest great place to visit. Nice hotel, great staff and well positioned.

Historic place, great bar and great rooms.
I liked the combined style of the ancient palace with the modernity of the structure of the hotel.
Nice room, great breakfast, I’ve expected more from the spa.
