At check-in I was given a regular room which was not what I had ordered. I returned to the front desk and asked for a deluxe room that I had reserved. The receptionist immediately gave me the proper room. I was very happy with the rest of my stay.

We visited Budapest for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The Continental was the perfect base, friendly staff, great roof top pool, and we were greeted with complimentary champagne on arrival, a lovely thought by the general manager. Recommended restaurants were excellent, as were arrangements for airport transfers.

We were well received by the staff. Procedure was short and efficient. Athmosphere in the lobby was nice. Pool on the 7th floor was adequate but the water was a bit on the cold side.

Really loved this Hotel! From the excellent complimentary bottle of red wine fro the General Mgr in our room the first night to the helpful, friendly Front-Desk staff to the great breakfast to the lively, fun Mezzanine bar & lovely piano lobby! We would definitely both recommend it & stay here again!
