We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed with a very generous bathroom. The hotel was within walking distance of most historic sites and close to the ruin pubs, yet away from the main tourist areas, offering some quiet. Both the breakfast and bar offerings were very nice and we enjoyed the complimentary beverage tickets and wine on arrival. The service staff was very friendly and welcoming. We would enthusiastically recommend the hotel again.

Great roof top view / area. Bed and pillows VERY hard. Not good.

Was uns wirklich geärgert hat, daß man als Hotelgast für die Benutzung des Schwimmbads und des Fitnessraumes bezahlen muß. Und zwar pro Tag und Gast 16 Euro, wenn man den Fitnessraum und das Schwimmbad nutzen will. Das haben wir wirklich noch nie erlebt. Und wir waren schon in sehr vielen Hotels auf allen Kontinenten dieser Welt. Aber insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt im Continental Hotel zufrieden und würden das Hotel wieder wählen, wenn wir noch einmal diese tolle Stadt besuchen sollten

Good hotel, good services but small room

Our fourth visit. I needed to print out our boarding passes and the staff were very helpful; but the computer available to guests is a disaster. We could not make the printer work and someone has reset the keyboard so that the letters that appear on the screen are sometimes different from those entered on the keyboard. An IT expert should be called in to reset it. However the staff member sent my boarding passes downstairs using his own personal e-mail and printed them for me - good for him. For a de luxe room we found room 333 to be smaller than we expected.
