Nice hotel, location perfect, welcome by the concierge Attila wonderful, it all started well.
The room was ok as for a standard room, allthough cleanliness was disappointing for the standards. Stains on the bathroom walls and the linen didn't need to be changed, but could have been shaken off dust every day. The bed was just redone.
One big problem is the staff at breakfast! I had never seen such unfriendly and non smiling staff in a hotel, especially at breakfast, when this staff is the first thing we see after waking up. One day (Saturday) was very busy, which we all understand, but this is not an excuse not to greet and smile guests. A lady was cleaning quickly a table so we can seat all 4 together, which was very nice indeed, but she threw all breadcrumbs on the chairs where we would be sitting on and on our jackets that were already on the chairs. When my husband told her to be careful she started to argue she was doing her best and was very agressive. The place mats were of course dirty from previous guests and she did not change it. Would have been preferable to take them off.

was expecting a better sense of hospitality and the delivery of a higher standard of service. You cannot sell on booking.com the property as a 4 stars hotel if your staff at breakfast does not receive a proper hotel education.
The location was good, the hotel itself was beautiful but as mentioned above, spa and staff have to be improved! they need to love their job if they want to work in the hotel business

Beautiful hotel & staff are excellent I left my wedding ring in the bathroom & did not realise after we checked out & went for a walk to kill time until our pick up for the airport. House keeping had it. Nice to see honest staff thank you.
