We had a nice stay there. The hotel is located in the historic Jewish Quarter and you can walk literally everywhere. Nightlife, bars and restaurants are close. The architecture of the hotel is interesting although it looks a lot bigger and more impressive on the pictures. The hotel is very clean, so no complaints about this. They do obviously even use a perfume in the lobby which is rather heavy and strange, but that's a question of individual taste I guess.
One thing that really did upset us: I've never been to a 4 star hotel where you had to pay an extra fee of 8 EUR/day/person to be allowed to use the pools- this depended on our booking as we were told (although I still don't know what alternative I should have had while booking the room, especially there was no information about that while booking the room- and it's not about the prize of 16 EUR/day for a couple, I don't care about that)- it's just an absolutely no go, makes you feel like a guest of lower priority!

Verry nice hotel, perfect location, super service. Unfortunatelly the breakfast-offer is very short and in the restaurant there was to less space for the number of guests.

We stayed here 7 year so ago, when it used to be called ZARA , when I made the online booking it was Called CONTINENTAL Hotel Budapest.
I made even the taxi driver confused ,when I showed him the printed booking .
Strange...
Otherwise, I've been pleased with the concierge ,very professional and helpful.
Overall we had a great experience only one more thing to mention , level one isn't sound proved, Sat&a Sunday night ,Dohany str was very loud.
