Very satisfied, the hotel staff were lovely and very helpful.
It is such a beautiful and well maintained hotel. The room we had was better than we imagined.

It's a great hotel, but it needs some improvement at the service level -especially restaurant area.

Arrived at the hotel for a 50th Birthday break check in was very quick you get two electronic room and lift cards (last Spanish holiday only got 1 between us)we were given a room upgrade with it being a special birthday, had only been in the room a couple of minutes when there was a knock at the door and a porter brought in a champagne bucket with a bottle of sparkling wine and a card wishing me happy birthday, room was very nice bed extremely comfy and pillows to die for, if they hadn't there was a little menu of alternative pillows that you could request.
Wifi very good in room and lobby.
Tv as ever when abroad was disappointing BBC world news (seemed to be the same morning and night when tried it) and occasionally when flicking through the 42 channels would find something in English.
free safe in the room just put in your own code each time you locked it. room would be cleaned and beds remade everyday and in the evening someone would leave 2 chocolates on the bed with a little card with the following days weather forecast on it.
Breakfast ....loved it buffet selection of cooked and cold options the scrambled egg with ham and mushroom was very nice, staff very attentive quickly cleared away plates, another offering coffee top ups or you could get your own, around the corner towards the bar of the restaurant there was a chef who would prepare eggs to your liking (though there were boiled, fried (sunny side up) and two types of scrambled on the buffet anyway) or a range of fillings for omelettes. I couldn't fault it.
didn't get time to make use of the wellness centre did go up on the last day to have a look it seemed ok pools were small.
All the staff very friendly and polite.
The hotel is one street in from the Rakoczi Utca which is the main road down to the Elizabeth Bridge about a 10 minute walk for us, about half way down that road is the Astoria Metro Station on the M2 line very cheap easy and convenient means of travel.

Would definitely recommend this hotel
