It was a little bit cold in the room (19 C).

Overall good, the only real down side was the bad heating almost everywhere in the hotel and the room (apart from the wellness area), which was quite frustrating considering the minus 7 degrees outside.

Egy szuper Hotel. Kedvesek igazán. Nagyon finom ételek és a Hotel egy városnézésre tökéletes helyen van. A kilátás hiánya viszont megint csak keserves. Így a wellness hiányosságai miatt nem tökéletes a harmónia az árral szerintem. Sajnálom!

Un'esperienza bellissima! Il Continental accoglie i propri ospiti con un'attenzione unica. L'atmosfera del Natale e di Capodanno si respirava in ogni dove!

„„Wer im Trüben fischt, nutzt unklare Verhältnisse zum eigenen Vorteil aus.““
Man fühlt sich von diesem Hotel zusammen mit Booking.com quer über den Tisch gezogen: wir haben unsere Zimmer-Buchung für 24.12-27.12.15 vor 2,5 Monaten für ca. 361,-€ inkl. Frühstuck reserviert, aber schon 1-1,5 Monat später könnte man gleiches Zimmer (mit allen gleichen anderen Parameter) für diese Zeit ca. 30%-35% günstiger, z. B. für ca. 225,-€ inkl. Frühstuck buchen. Hinter der „Bestpreisgarantie“ von Booking.com steht nichts - ein pures Slogan und nichts mehr: gilt laut Booking.com nur für die Buchungen mit kostenloser Stornierung??? Wenn man eine Buchung mit kostenloser Stornierung hat, dann es ist doch möglich diese Buchung ohne sogenannte „Bestpreisgarantie“ stornieren und eine günstigere Buchung vornehmen! Alle „Screenshoten“ haben wir geschickt, aber es wurde abgelehnt mit Begründung, dass unsere Buchung war nicht kostenlos stornierbar!?

Location and staff were good.
Spa area was cramped and not well equipped for more than 4 people at a time. Most of the machines in the gym were not working.

Our journey was really enjoyable and we really loved the hotel which interior design is really beautiful.

We just had a bad surprise the last day: We asked the receptionnist to book a taxi that accepts credit cards to go back to the airport. The receptionnist answered us that they all accept credit cards.
Firstly, this was not a taxi (it was a black mercedes with "elite" logo) and was 25% more expensive that the one we took by night to go to the hotel (8000 HUF / 6000 HUF ! ) but furthermore he did not have any credit card terminal so that we had to run in the airport to take some cash. When we told him that we didn't have any cash he told us that the price could be 7000 HUF. He had no taximeter and we really believed the amount he charges varies according to whether he likes the look of you or not. We found this really unpleasent, unprofessional and not in correlation with the standing of your hotel. I can send you the receipe I asked him. (my mail : bruyeredamien@hotmail.fr)

however, except this "experience", we really enjoyed being in the continental hotel Budapest, thank you.

Accueil tres agréable, hotel tres bien situé , seul le petit déjeuner est cher lorsqu'il n'est pas inclus dans le sejour . excellent séjour
