A beautiful hotel with excellent public areas particularly the lobby, breakfast room and cocktail the bar. Our bed seemed enormous and very comfortable. Maid service was faultless. The evening pianist was superb. All staff seemed very well trained and were faultless in their dealings with us. The wellness pools and sauna were spotless and well supervised. The location was perfect for our requirements as we did not particularly want to be in the 'downtown' area. We enjoyed the nearby Spinoza restaurant very much. If we had to find one negative point in our week long stay it was that the taxi called by the hotel to take us to the airport was not metered (the taxi at the airport, on arrival, was metered) - it cost us HUF 1,000 more - a negligible amount. We would thoroughly recommend the Continental Zara and would certainly stay there again.
