Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und macht schon beim Betreten einen tollen Eindruck. Der Empfang war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Zimmer waren noch nicht fertig, man bot uns an, unsere Koffer im von den Hotelpagen bewachten Bereich zu belassen, was wir gerne annahmen. Nach Rückkehr betraten wir nach dem Einchecken die Zimmer und erlebten eine Überraschung, sie waren nicht fertig! Wir baten den Pagen, welcher uns die Koffer auf die Zimmer gebracht hatte, sich darum zu kümmern, was er auch gleich telefonisch tat. Man sagte uns, dass es Probleme mit der Wäscherei gegeben hätte und die Zimmer bald fertig gemacht würden. Dies war dann auch so. Eine Runde im Pool am Abend war sehr wohltuend :-) Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war prima! Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch draußen im Innenhof, das Frühstücksangebot war lecker und reichhaltig. Nach dem Auschecken konnten wir unsere Koffer wieder bei den Hotelpagen lassen. Unglücklicherweise gerieten wir nachmittags in ein fürchterliches Unwetter und kamen nass bis auf die Haut im Hotel wieder an, auf Nachfrage stellte man uns ein kleines Handtuch zur Verfügung und gestattete uns, den Spa-Bereich zum Trocknen und Umziehen zu benutzen :-D

The hotel itself is very beautiful and the reception area in itself is just lovely. If we had one criticism it would be that the room was a bit small and the lack of a full length anywhere was a downside. The black reflective coating on the wardrobe door was not sufficient to be called a mirror. There were also no towels when we arrived at 2pm and when we asked the maid, she told us they would not be there until 4pm. We were also told when we were shown our room that the water was complimentary. We were then charged when checking out and told it was not complimentary at all. Not good customer service

I am very sorry for the missing towels. I don’t want to make you tired with our „laundry story”, but we are just in the middle of the change of our service provider, but we are on a good way to finish it.
Regarding your complaint about "water charge" I wish to inform you, I don't see any mini bar charge on your bill, just a consumpion at our Galery Café.

It's a lovely hotel in a great location with a nice walk to the main shopping area and the river. We had an excellent trip to Budapest and would return to this hotel again! The concierge was particularly helpful and polite.

Greatfully , for my wife and me was been any days fantastic with a Danubio,s dinner and ear the fantastic Johan Strauss Orchestra and Andre Rieu.
The soip goulast is delicius.

Very pleased we booked this hotel. It was surrounded by cafes at various price levels and close to transport.

Generally, the hotel is very nice , rooms are large and confortable. the breakfast services is too 'present' and the buffet too far from the tables.
