We enjoyed our stay but found that the furniture really detracted from our comfort. Because of the rain we were in the house more than outside so we noticed it more than we might have if it had been sunnier. The landscaping around our villa was also quite overgrown, while it was pretty, it needed cutting back from the pathway, some weeding and sweeping was also needed.
Sorry you found it uncomfortable furniture. This is the first time a guest made the remark but let's think for a solution.
Many cushions are yet available.
For gardens : our team of gardeners involved every week with my husband who is retired landscaper. The weeks of your stay and before that were both very wet and warm and weeds grow so fast ! but your point is useful to us and, of course, we will take account .
