Wäre nie darauf gekommen wie ideal das Dorint Hotel Heumarkt für einen Köln Besuch ist, wenn es die Aktion auf Sectrets Escape nicht geben hätte. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Parkkosten sehr hoch, aber man könnte ja auch mit dem Zug anreisen das nächste Mal.

It was ok - nothing bad but nothing great. Rooms were comfortable and Reception staff were very helpful.

Lovely hotel in great location for cathedral, shops and Christmas market.
Helpful and efficient staff.
Good and fresh breakfast

Sehr schönes, zentral gelegenes, gepflegtes Hotel, eher gehobene Ansprüche werden voll erfüllt. Jederzeit gerne wieder!
Und sogar eine Evakuation klappt einwandfrei 😉

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel and overall, my experience was quite enjoyable. The facilities, service, and ambiance were commendable, and I appreciate the efforts of your staff to make my stay comfortable.
However, I would like to bring to your attention a concerning incident that occurred on the morning of December 4th. There was an unexpected warming alarm, and unfortunately, the experience was marred by a lack of clear communication from the front desk.
Upon hearing the alarm, I approached the front desk seeking information and guidance. Regrettably, the staff member on duty at that time seemed unable to provide a clear explanation of the situation, and I found it challenging to discern what steps were being taken to address the issue. Moreover, when I inquired about any assistance or guidance for me, I felt that the response was not as helpful as I had hoped.
I understand that unforeseen incidents can happen, and I believe that clear communication during such situations is crucial to ensuring the safety and comfort of guests. It would be beneficial for the hotel staff to be well-informed about emergency protocols and be able to effectively communicate them to guests calmly and reassuringly.
I offer this feedback with the intention of constructive improvement, as I believe your hotel has the potential to provide an even more outstanding experience for its guests. I trust that you will address this matter appropriately and take steps to enhance the communication and response protocols in place.
