A 4 star in words and images, but a marketing illusion. Not a good experience. Substantially over-priced. Even though the breakfast cost was kindly offered by one of the receptionists, the overall experience was very disappointing to say the least. There seems a management disconnect. We cancelled our stay for the second night and moved to another hotel, where all was good, solutions found, nothing too much trouble, and customer the priority.

We are very sorry to read that we disappointed your expectations in several areas and that your overall impression was so negative that you decided to end your stay early. We take your feedback regarding the service procedures at reception and the cleanliness of the room extremely seriously, as we have high standards for service quality and hygiene. The fact that you encountered such inconveniences in the restroom upon arrival and that no immediate solution could be offered on site does not meet our standards at all; we deeply regret this.
We have also carefully read the note about the missing information at check-in, as well as your comments regarding pricing and the value of the offer. It is our desire to ensure transparent processes and to give our guests a pleasant feeling from the very first moment. We understand that this was not possible in your case.
Many guests appreciate our hotel's location on the edge of the city center and in close proximity to the thermal baths and forest trails. Nevertheless, we are happy to take your comments regarding accessibility and your request for a better transfer service to Freiburg into account so we can continue to improve.
