Very strange that the hotel is 4 stars.No stars needed for this hotel. No air conditioning hotel must not be called a hotel in a famous city.Only one electric fan in the room.One big window but cannot open more than 2 centimeters.Imagine you’re in a hot Sauna in the mid summer.It was just like that. The hotel seems to be proud of the fact that it has no air conditioning.
I would not choose or recommend EXCELSIOR BY GEISEL hotel for others.
Never ever!

Very gorgeous room but without ac however it's fine with window open. Service was great and 10euro green voucher was wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, especially after an upgrade to a deluxe room with air conditioning because it was very hot in Munich while we were there. One problem we had was the drive to the hotel was extremely challenging. Evev Google map had difficulty guiding us to the hotel. I am not sure there is anything g the hotel management can do for that.

It's a nice hotel with good service. However, nowadays not having air conditioning in all the rooms seems a little out of date. The carpets on the way up to the room were also a bit shabby and the bathroom need renovating, it isn't comfortable to shower in.
